Sandpoint Photo Gallery, 1977
Theose photographs were all taken in 1977 or around that time and I had been staying at Mr. and Mrs. Fields home for a month.Unfortunately, even though I took a tremendous numbers of photos but not succeeded because the camera I brought was not an easy one, most of the photos were out of focus and I was much disappointed to know that. Anyway, I had a few photos that reminds me my favorite period during in Sandpoint and I will share those photos with you.
On the hill, I enjoyed huckleberry picking, (huckleberry is the fruite of Idaho) and hunting. I was so surprised at that Todd, who was 14 years old and already had a license for the hunting. The boxing photo on the newspaper was delivered in 1977 during I had been staying and Todd had been training at the Sandpoint Elks boxing club and reported the team mate would go to Chehalis, WA to have a card with another club. The report included that a Japanese exchange student (means myself) also would join the trip. The family photo on the Christmas day was sent to me to introduce their family before I visited them. I had been so excited to know the family. Of course, today, almost all of them are not living in Sandpoint other than Donna, but I felt heartful emotion to know still they have been a good family for a long time.
