17. American Museum of the Moving Image
The Museum of the Moving Image was founded in 1977 with the mission to educate the people about the "art", "history", "technique", and "technology" of film, television, and digital media and to examine their impact on culture and society." In addition to its revolving and permanent exhibits, the museum features various screenings, seminars, educational programs, and a gift shop with film memorabilia. Along with the Kaufman-Astoria Studios, it is one of the largest tourist attractions in the borough of Queens.

18. Museum for African Art
The Museum for African Art, located in Long Island City, was founded in 1984, dedicated to increasing public understanding and appreciation for African art and culture. P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center, located in Long Island City, was founded in 1971, as the one of the largest and oldest museums in the U.S.A. which dedicated only to contemporary art. Shea Stadium is the home ground of New York Mets, which name was originated from "Metropolitan". The team was established in 1962 and the team color is from their origin, Brooklyn Dodgers (Blue) and New York Giants (Orange), both moved to California). 25. Queens Botanical Garden
The Queens Botanical Garden, located in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, was built as public park and the part of the 1939 New York World's Fair, which consists of 39 acres (158,000 m2) of rose, bee, herb, and perennial gardens.

26. Queens Museum of Art
The Queens Museum of Art, located in Flushing Meadows Park, occupies a structure originally built for the 1939 New York World's Fair, held in the park which hosted the fair. The building then served as the first home of the United Nations General Assembly, and later housed the New York City exhibit in the 1964 New York World's Fair. The museum holds several noteworthy and highly-regarded works of art but is probably best-known for its being the site of a large model of New York City, built to scale and periodically updated to reflect the city's ever-changing face.

29. Queens County Farm Museum
The Queens County Farm Museum's history dates back to 1697, it occupies New York City's largest remaining tract of undisturbed farmland and is the only working historical farm in the City. The farm encompasses a 47-acre parcel that is the longest continuously farmed site in New York State. The site includes historic farm buildings, a greenhouse complex, livestock, farm vehicles and implements, planting fields, an orchard and herb garden. 5. Forest Park
Forest Park is the third largest park in Queens. It is surrounded by five ethnically diverse neighborhoods, Richmond Hill, Kew Gardens, Forest Hills, Woodhaven and Glendale. Forest Park, 538 acres of trees and fields, is a jewel of a park in Queens, New York, bordering the neighborhoods of Richmond Hill, Kew Gardens, Forest Hills, Glendale, and Woodhaven. Designed by Frederick Olmsted in the 1890s, Forest Park is the third largest park in Queens. On its eastern side, enjoy strolling in thick woods plus trails for running, biking, skating, and horseback riding. To its west, find golfing, a merry-go-round carousel, bandshell concerts, and playing fields.

7. Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge
Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, part of Gateway National Recreation Area, is one of the largest bird sanctuaries in the northeastern United States (over 9,000 acres). Jamaica Bay is the best place in New York City to observe seasonal migration of birds. The Bay's islands and their ponds are a key layover spot for birds along the Atlantic Flyway. During the spring and late summer, it's possible to see over a hundred types of birds, including the wonderfully named Lesser Yellowlegs.
